St Thomas lies to the west of the River Exe, within walking distance of Exeter Quay and the city centre. Ideal for families and close to the city centre but with its own community feel, St Thomas has a ‘self-contained’ feel to it. St Thomas has a great range of businesses as well, from accountants, chartered surveyors to management consultancies – it’s a thriving and growing business hub. With a range of modestly priced family sized semi-detached houses and occasional detached houses it is an ideal location, ideal for both living in and buying to let.

The proximity to the M5 is ideal for people commuting out of the city, but it has its green spaces as well: the Cowick Barton Recreation Ground lies at the heart of St Thomas and, tucked away, the hidden delights of the tranquil Pinces Gardens offer paths through sculpted bushes and a delightful wisteria archway.

St Thomas has everything you want, but at affordable prices. Historically less expensive than areas on the other side of the river, it is catching up quickly and is an excellent place for investment. From cafes and pubs to health food shops and a library – St Thomas is a cost effective but immensely practical place to buy property.
