John is a proud Blundellian. His first day boarding at Blundell’s School in Tiverton was on his 13th birthday. At such a young age he soon learned how to be independent and develop a strong sense of inner confidence and self-belief. Learning the importance of good manners and excellent communication skills also shaped John into the person he is today and gave him the ambition and desire to build a company with the highest standards of customer service. He also excelled on the rugby pitch playing at the highest level at Blundell’s and then for Exeter and Devon explaining his drive and motivation to compete and succeed in business. Burgoynes is now firmly established and recognised as one of Exeter’s most respected Estate Agents in the city providing exceptional standards of customer service, professionalism and outstanding marketing with the aim to exceed clients expectations every time. John’s listing and valuing skills are used daily in the business. He leads by example and his positive and gentlemanly manner is a much admired trait.

In 2005, we established the successful Hospicare golf day raising money in memory of John’s mum, Marnie Burgoyne. We have also been active in promoting and supporting many other causes including Macmillan Cancer Support and the Teddy Bear Parachute Drop for the Rotary Club of Exeter.
